Multi window working on a widescreen monitor

I bought a Mac mini m1 half a year ago and there is one thing that annoy the me so a little. I use a 34 inch widescreen monitor and of course I have a window on the right and left side. But I always have to activate the window I want to work on with a mouse click. Copy paste work is really not fast. And even two Safari windows can't be active at the same time. Is there a setting or a tool that helps?
