MultiAlarm and Smackbook

i have a 12" G4 powerbook, im sure it has SMS but when i run MultiAlarm i get an error saying it could not read the SMS info code:80 or somthing... whats going on?

i would also like to know if Smackbook will work on the 12" powerbook

Have you tried running any other software that utilizes the SMS system to make sure it's enabled?

Sorry to be so vague, but I've heard of lots of PB users especially with SMS sensors that have been disabled or otherwise incapacitated.

I was unable to get any sms readings after the 10.4.6 upgrade. Then I read somewhere that if you do a restart, not a power down, but a restart, it would work. So that's what I did (15" G4) and smackbook, amstracker and levelwidget all work now. If my battery runs down, they stop working again and I have to do a restart to get them going. I just hope that the disk protection feature still works when I'm not getting any sensor output.
