I have had an SSD drive in a USB 3 enclosure, with USB-C at one end that plugs into the enclosure and USB 3 that connects to my computer.

However, I notice that the USB-C cable part that connects to the enclosure does not feel very secure, and just a slight nudge to the cable or enclosure causes the hard drive to eject multiple times with multiple disk not eject properly warnings from my mac.

Are there better enclosures? ones with solid secure plugs that cannot be unplugged or come loose?

Or would I be better off with my multiple drives in a mutibay hot swap enclosure? I notice those seem to have more secure USB and power plugs, and having multiple drives in a single connected box would save me in terms of available USB ports on my mac. Having my SSDs in separate individual enclosures take up ports fast, and the cables do not feel secure in them.
