Multicharger Issue

I got a generic wireless multi charger that says it works with Iphone and Apple watch. Of course i am charging my phone and watch together. It charges my phone ok but when my watch finishes charging the screen turns on and off repeatedly. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Are you getting the watch connected "ding" every couple of minutes? Mine started this with WatchOS 8.5. Never had an issue prior.

Yes. Of course I already updated the OS before I started using the charger.

I was using my charger prior to the update and did not have an issue. It wasn't until after I updated that the Ding started. It has happened on 2 of the multi-chargers I have.

I missed this thread in my search last night and started my own; I am seeing the same exact issue following the 8.5 update while charging my watch on a third party multi-charging station. I found my official Apple charger and am charging my watch with it right now to see how it behaves once it hits 100%. I will report back.

Update: This behavior is not happening on the official Apple charger…
