Being a Multiclutch addict (software which lets you assign multitouch inputs to commands in software), while I'm pleased with its usefulness in apps such as Safari, Mail, iCal etc, I am equally displeased with its refusal to work with others, such as Finder, or iTunes.

But I discovered a consistent way to make Multiclutch work. In Finder, at least. If I right click on the Finder icon in the dock, and select "New Smart Folder", I am then able to employ Multiclutch commands in Finder. It's worked for me every time, so now I do it once at startup and forget about it.

Does this work for anyone else? I'm wondering why it's so temperamental like this; maybe iTunes has similar back doors!:p
