Multifunctional printer with ability to send scans to networked computers?

I currently have a Canon PIXMA MP600 multifunctional printer, recently I had it sent for repair and have been told it's out of warranty. Wasted money on sending it and paying the repair centre to send it back to me

Is there any multifunctional printer that has the ability to send scans to networked computers?

My MP600 can't do this and as a result, I had to move the printer which was connected to my AirPort Express to a computer in order to receive the scan successfully

There are some now. Used to be that was a "USB ONLY" feature.

The upcoming Epson Artisans look to have them, as well as the HP OfficeJet J4680 All-in-One.

The Epsons look great and even better with a longer warranty in comparison to the MP600 I have which was only a year long.

Wonder when they will arrive in the UK?

The higher end OfficeJets from HP have that capability. We recently got one of em. Works pretty well. I think it was the 7400 series. I'll have to check for the exact model number but it's the one with wireless and card reader and fax and duplex.
