I currently have a Canon PIXMA MP600 multifunctional printer, recently I had it sent for repair and have been told it's out of warranty. Wasted money on sending it and paying the repair centre to send it back to me :(

Is there any multifunctional printer that has the ability to send scans to networked computers?

My MP600 can't do this and as a result, I had to move the printer which was connected to my AirPort Express to a computer in order to receive the scan successfully :(

There are some now. Used to be that was a "USB ONLY" feature.

The upcoming Epson Artisans look to have them, as well as the HP OfficeJet J4680 All-in-One.

MacWorld did a review of the later one here.

Thanks for your reply :)

The Epsons look great and even better with a longer warranty in comparison to the MP600 I have which was only a year long.

Wonder when they will arrive in the UK? :p

The higher end OfficeJets from HP have that capability. We recently got one of em. Works pretty well. I think it was the 7400 series. I'll have to check for the exact model number but it's the one with wireless and card reader and fax and duplex.
