Apple's wireless keyboard is a great industrial design, would look great with my other apple items, but it lacks the features that some keyboards have. I'm not necessarily looking for a large array of buttons like mail, sleep, and the other dozen buttons i never use. I have the older Logitech dinovo keyboard. Not only is it thin, attractive, and great tactile response, it has some smartly placed media buttons, such as a volume/mute control in the upper right, and a stop, play, pause, next, prev, and media button on the lower right. Well designed, ergonomic. This is a huge plus when I have my laptop at the back of my desk plugged into my monitor, and can't get to the volume buttons easily.

Question is, when do people think apple will expand its peripherals. We need a more functional keyboard that still looks sleek and simple. Are there any renders out there that show some concepts so I can get excited?
