Hello..

New to the Mac OS. How can I have two windows of the same item open? IE One of my drives and then another window open of another drive? Coming from a window background, I could have two windows open of say my c: drive\graphics and c: drive\graphics 2 so I could copy them back and forth. Does this make sense?

i just open finder and go to whatever I want to move, then double click my drive on the desktop and go find the location I want to copy to, juxtaposition them correctly then drag and drop.

If you open different folders/drives from the desktop or dock, they will appear in different windows. You could also hit command-N to open a new window, then navigate to the second folder you want. Also, I blelieve that if you hold down shift as you double click on a folder in a window, it will open in a new window.
