Multiple Address Books

I packed up my MacPro for an upcoming move. I emailed my Address Book to the iBook G4 I will be using until the move, thinking I would be able to open it on the iBook. BUT . . . the G4 won't open the Address Book from the MacPro. I have tried moving/renaming the two Address Book files trying to find a work-around. Nothing works.
