Our family shares a Mac Mini (M1 2020). My wife does not want to bother logging in to her own account each time she uses the Mac (understandably). Unfortunately, her AirPod Pro 2 is now attempting to connect to all of my other devices (iPhone 12 and iPad Pro). I have read that one method of keeping AirPods from connecting to other devices is to first connect to the device then change a setting on each device that let's it know not to automatically connect.. That method seems a bit onerous. Is there an easier way (single setting, maybe) to keep her AirPods on her devices while also letting her connect to our Mac? Maybe a "guest listener" feature on an already logged-in device?

I'm in the position of your wife, and unfortunately, I don't know of any other way than going to each of my partner's devices and turning the automatically connect setting off. On the other hand, you only have to do it once each device. My partner spent a few minutes ticking the setting on each of his devices, and we haven't thought about it since then.

Are you both using the same Apple ID?
