I need to control an iMac (latest model) from about 60' away. I am using a cat5 to USB extender and the supported Dlink bluetooth adapter with the apple mouse/keyboard. It works well, but as soon as I connect the Dlink, the local bluetooth mouse gets dropped and cannot be paired again to the built in bluetooth. I suspect that you can't have more than one bluetooth adapter on a Mac, in which case I will go in a different direction for the remote access. Do you guys know if it is possible to have more than one Bluetooth adapter on a Mac?

I do know most bluetooth devices can only be paired with one bluetooth adapter since they each adapter has its own ID.

I'm not sure if OS X is set up to properly handle multiple bluetooth adapters, but I don't think this is something that Apple would've planned for.
