Multiple-Choice Exam Questions App

I've got this exam coming up in a couple of weeks and it suddenly dawned upon me that a "Multiple-Choice Exam Questions" app for my iPad would provide a more educational way to smash into poles.
After carefully combing through the "App Store", I've boiled it down to the following trio: FlashCards Deluxe, AnkiMobile and Cram.
Despite being the only one with true "Multiple-Choice Questions" support, Cram has the huge drawback of lacking native iPad support. The input method is also a bit clunky and it hinges on the purchase of a separate $29.00 desktop app.
AnkiMobile seems to be very robust. In fact is so robust that I haven't quite figured out exactly how it works and what it's supposed to do. Strikes me as an overshoot for what I intend.
Last but certainly not the least, FlashCards Deluxe truly seems to dwell in a category of its own. It's both powerful and fast, with several seamless ways to create and upload your own content.

There have been requests for a "Multiple-Choice Questions" feature for both FlashCards Deluxe and AnkiMobile, although, in both cases, there's no apparent road-map for the actual implementation.

Does any one know about a better solution for getting "Multiple-Choice Questions" on the iPad or should I take the plunge with FlashCards Deluxe?

I have not found a decent solution to this problem either. You could do exam prep the old fashioned way and design the app yourself over break ;)
 
Cram is supposedly get an iPad app release soon. But Cram doesn't require the purchase of the Mac app, they have a free online portal you can create test in and you can create the test using quizlet.

I don't know about the other apps.
 
As I refined the research it quickly become obvious that it was going to be a clear-cut win for FlashCards Deluxe. I've purchased the app a couple days ago and must say it's worth every penny. It only took a couple hours to adapt it to my "Multiple-Choice" needs. It's not perfect but it's close enough. The developer provides great email support. He assured me that "Multiple-Choice" is certainly on the TODO list. He couldn't give me an exact date, but said that it's deployment is probably a couple months down the road. Until then, unless something else pops up, FlashCards Deluxe is probably the best app out there for exam "Multiple-Choice" cramming.

P.S: aimee25: Designing the app myself was actually part of the initial plan. The thing is "breaks" are a rare sight these days. It seems my premiere at the App Store will have to wait until the next semester.

Multiple Choices Questionnaire

Try SAS Flash Card, a little ackward from the design but easy to handle multiple choice questions. It may take time for you to enter the input and choices (no way to import)

However, I believe that mutiple choices are meant to test othes and not for anyone who input them for a study. Actually, You need to know the real answer only and not confused with other wrong choices.
 
Long time no see mates. Just finished doing some fresh research on the "Multiple-Choice Questions" topic and would very much like to bounce my conclusions off you. In a nutshell, it seems FlashCards Deluxe took off and left everybody else eating its dust! In light of Ernie's uncanny ability to connect with the app's user base, can't really say I'm surprised. Full-fledged "Multiple-Choice" support is available since version 2.9.5, and several refinements to the feature have been made since then. Furthermore, "Text to Speech" was introduced with version 2.9, currently supporting 18 languages. Add to that the ability to include pictures and sounds plus bulk import of cards, and you've got yourself a keeper!

In spite of having spent long hours combing through App Store reviews, I was only able to find two feeble challengers. Flashcards+ has lots of downloads, seems reasonably well built, but lacks the pivotal multiple-choice support. gFlashPro boasts in-app purchase of premium content from major educational publishes and 9 slide cards. Unfortunately its multiple-choice implementation doesn't cut it.

Notwithstanding all the above, I do acknowledge my hopeless bias towards Flashcards Deluxe. I'm afraid my tunnel vision on this one is preventing me from perceiving other worthy alternatives, ergo my cri de coeur for some impartial external validation. Appreciate it.
 
Hi Khaos / guys - I stumbled across this thread from Google and after seeing you'd updated it recently wanted to draw your attention to an app called MyCQs.

Conflict of interest disclaimer...this is my own app, but I made it because like you I couldn't find a decent app for creating MCQs after Cram stopped being supported.

Hope you find it useful, please let me know what you think as its still quite new and we're constantly refining it / adding new features, but as a student myself I used it for my exams this winter and definitely found it helpful!
