In the new 8.1, under your Text Message Forwarding settings... I have multiple listings for my devices (An iMac and rMBP) - How do I go about removing the multiple listings? Probably from clean installing them the other day...

Where is this setting on a 6 plus?

It's strange - The devices are only listed in here. No duplicates on iCloud.com or anything..

I have the same issue, my MBPr shows up twice. Will changing the password actually work?

Yes. When you change your password. All existing devices, ghost devices will be removed.

This happened because when you did a clean install, you didn't sign out from your iMessage.

I have the same problem. My MBP shows up 3 times because I've changed its name over the years.

highly unlikely, changing name 3 times would not have incurred it showing up 3 different times.
it cld mean u did a 3 times clean install, and logged into iMessage 3 times without signing out from them before each clean install.

Ya, that's what I meant. I must have done clean installs without logging out and used a new name.

It worked! Thank you sir!

Changing the password works, although without changing it... How long should it takes to remove by itself? I think it's because of the "ghosts" that my Safari history doesn't sync...
