Hey All,

I am done vetting the M1 for development purposes and I am now using full-time now. Recently decided to move the old MBP i9 out and utilize my dock.

It appears that I am having issues pushing a picture to my secondary monitor. I have the lid closed on the MBP M1 and still can only push to one external monitor. If I go and plug this into my old MBP it pushes to both monitors.

What could be the issues? The dock I am using is Hyper Drive dock, so it has two HDMI ports, which are capable of 4K.

Thanks

Covered in lots of threads. Current M1 MacBook Pro and Air can only officially support one external monitor up to 6k with extended or mirrored displays. Docks only act as a Mirror.

I use mine in extended mode for Zoom calls plus access to documents etc. on the second screen. Sidecar with an iPad is another option.
