Hello,
I'm wanting to switch my POP accounts to IMAP accounts. I have 2 email servers that currently download new messages into a single Inbox folder in Outlook. I'm aware that I need to upload my emails to the server. Here's what I'm trying to figure out: Do I need to upload all the messages to both servers, and if I do that, will Outlook end up with 2 copies of each message when it syncs with both servers? Or do I just upload all the messages to only one server, set outlook to retain a copy on each mac, and then both servers simply sync new messages? Logically, it seems to me that I need a copy of the old messages on both servers so that everything is synced. I'm just concerned about having duplicate copies in Outlook. If anyone is able to shed any light on this, I'd be most grateful.
