Okay so I cam pretty new to apple. I have 2 ipads and wanted to use them for 2 separate things. One is for general use and my Kids games and the other is for my more personal info. I just got the second ipad, set it up using my apple log in like the other iPad but I wasnt Thinking it would transfer info over. All the photos/videos on my old iPad copied to the new one and when I tried to delete them off my new one it also deleted them off the old one But I wanted to keep them on the old ipad. I don’t have anything on the new iPad yet but my question is, is There a way I can have them on the same logins and not share info? Or if I factory reset the new one and start over with a new account will it wipe the old one too????? I need help lol
Thanks in advance!

It would be under your iCloud settings on the device. If you want them to not replicate certain items like photos you just turn it off on each device. Basically anything using your AppleID will try and talk with tech other.

You log out of iCloud before you wipe a device, I think Apple does this for you automatically but I still do it manually. Hopefully this helps.

It would be safer if you use different Apple ID for each of those two. Set the one for kids as child account (family member) of your main account. I did this for my child and even for my 80yo dad.
