In early January my iTunes library completely disappeared. I restored it from my iPod using "Pod to Mac" and did a complete new backup to DVDs. Last night everything crashed again. The Mac actually froze and when i rebooted and launched iTunes it tried to restore my iTunes library from xml and said it was damaged and now stored as "iTunes library (damaged)". As I type this I'm back up from the DVDs.

Should I completely delete iTunes (I'm running 9.0.2) and start again? Other thoughts? The Mac is running Snow Leopard 10.6.2
