Hello - I have a basic lack of understand about how media storage works at home and away. Badly described so I'll explain the situation:

We have a single laptop and are about to add another. My 2 kids will each get one for school next year. Plus, I can foresee a desktop in the near or semi-near future. I currently have an Airport Extreme and a number of external disks. How can I:

1 - Allow all computers to access and add to shared media.

2 - Back up all devices

3 - Allow each computer to have some media "on-board" so kids can access media at school for projects.

4 - Set it so when iTunes is opened outside home WiFi it doesn't look for and create a new library that has to be converted back when home. (is that clear?)

THANK YOU!
