Howdy..

I have a 15" Retina MBP. Over the last year, I've noticed an increasing number of little errors... These include:

1) Menu bar stops updating (clock stays the same)
2) Bluetooth mouse has issues when 2nd monitor plugged in (usually TBD)
3) Trackpad stops responding for 10-15 seconds after USB device is plugged in
4) After sleep, the built-in webcam is no longer recognized

These are all fairly minor on their own, but it seems to be getting worse. Tried zapping P-Ram, etc...

I'm thinking of doing an over-install of the operating system via the Recovery partition... Is this a good idea? Or is there something you'd tried prior to this step?

Thanks!

Best,

Ben

Howdy...

It would be awesome if the SMC + PRAM would solve this. I have already tried that once before, but I'll try it again before reinstalling...

It's a bother to do it, but I understand it doesn't wipe out your HD, so my files and such should survive... I'd try and over-install before I resorted to a clean-format-install.

Any other thoughts? Really appreciate the ideas... :)

Best,

Ben
