Not sure if anything like this exists?
I have been using a Wacom Intros Table for many years. While I do use the "pens", most of the time I use the Wacom Mouse for everyday tasks. They apparently have discontinued the Wacom Mouse, so I am looking for an alternative.
I have (3) NEC monitors connected left to right. The Wacom Software allows me to "map" an area on the tablet to match the same aspect ratio of my 3 monitors (together) and then select what they call a "pen" mode (vs "mouse" mode). By doing this, if I pick up the Wacom mouse and place it on another area of the tablet, it immediately jumps to the corresponding area on my monitor grid (it assumes that all three of my monitors are "one-wide" monitor. In mouse-mode, you would have to keep shoving the mouse or moving a wheel multiple times to get to another monitor - not an option.
So my question is: "Is there some application similar to the Wacom tablet software that would allow me to switch to a non-Wacom mouse, yet let it behave the way the Wacom Mouse does on the tablet (but mapping an area on the top of my desk vs the tablet)?"
It is a real shame that Wacom has discontinued the "Mouse". I know it is not their main target and they were have a lot of QC issues with their mice, but they are losing a very loyal customer here. I have purchased thousands of dollars in Wacom tablets going back over 20 years - I think every generation, but no mouse is a deal-breaker for me.
