Multiple numbers stored for one friend, how do I tell which number they used?

So I have multiple numbers listed for one specific friend on my phone. When they call or text I click the info button and it doesnt specify which number it was that this person used. I find this annoying.

Is there anyway to tell? Seems like the number they used should pop up first when I hit the info button

When I click on the little info button (looks like a letter I in a circle) it pulls up the contact info and the number or email address they used is coloured blue rather than black like the rest of the information.
