I am on my 4th MBP/PB...
Started with the Titanium PB
1ghz 17" PB(in college)
2x MBP 2.4 Core 2 Duo w/2GB ram(one is mine the other is my wife's)
I use my MBP primarily for making videos for a small company i work for, internet and some web building and light internet marketing.
I have been pondering picking up a new custom 15" MBP w/the 4 core processor and 4 gb of ram.
Back in the days of pentium it was easy to keep up with the computer race for what was faster.
My honest question... Is it worth it to make the jump? This computer is ~3years old and has a lot of miles on it.
Video editing, especially in 1080, is getting slower.
What would you do? Would it be worth it to upgrade the HD in my existing comp + adding more ram or just making the jump to the latest and greatest?
Thanks in advance.
