Multiple Problems with MB--get a new one?

I remember hearing that if Applecare has to fix your computer multiple times you can get a new one? To what extent is that true.

My girlfriend has a 1.5 year old MB that had had to be sent in for repair to the superdrive. Then the logic board had to be replaced and now the screen flickers sometimes.

Will she get a new one?

usually for lemon law its the next fault after 3

its different from state to state though i think, but it dosent hurt to call apple care and let them know with the right ammount of gentle force you might get one now
