1. My macbook refuses to sleep without the use of pleasesleep, however, this application doesnt work well for me because I run Itunes quite a bit and it tries to sleep with it running and if I use an exception it will never go to sleep cause I like keeping Itunes running.

2. Iturnes Artwork Screensaver just refuses to work, always comes up that iturnes artwork is not findable.

Either one of these problems solved would be a huge help.

How long did you leave the lid closed to test the sleep? Mine was taking a while (~1-2min) b/c it had to write all the RAM to the disk - I turned that command off and now it sleeps in 5-10 secs from lid closing.

I don't know anything about the iTunes screensaver, sorry.

it will sleep when i close it, it just won't sleep without me forcing it too. It automatcily sleeping is the problem.

1. As you mentioned, automatic sleeping is the problem? Then turn it off.
2. Is it just me or are you running Lion?

Sorry - that's a rather confusing statement. You said it will sleep automatically, and you also said that it won't sleep without you forcing it to.

If auto sleep is the problem, turn it off in Energy settings like Prodo123 said.
