multiple selection

hi all,

i want to do the hold shift button and highlight multiple files function ( just like window ) but i don seems to be able to do that. i wonder is it just me or the macosx system.

and i can't seems to cut properly in macosx.

are these the macosx flaw?

It's the system, in icon view, you cannot hold shift to select sequential items. In list or detail view, you can.

Also, you cannot cut files. Copy and paste or drag and drop.

Yeah, cutting is a serious lack in OS X. Sure you can drag and drop to move, but new switchers from Windows are used to the Ctrl-X or Right Click -> Cut. Sounds a bit like iPhone 2.0's lack of Cut, copy and paste to me!
