Multiple user's wallpaper

I selected a new wallpaper and it shows without any problem when selected. But for some reason when my Macbook Pro restarts I end up with the original Wave wallpaper.
Any way to correct this? Doesn't happen to the other user/administrator.
Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
