Hello all, long time reader first (or second) time poster.

I am attempting something that may not be possible, so I thought I'd ask around. Using the iOS Custom Keypad app, I'm trying to make it possible for multiple devices to connect to a Mac and be able to simultaneously control specific parameters on an app's GUI that is running on the Mac.

Essentially, a single device would be delivering scroll-up and scroll-down to a specific region on the screen displaying the app. Every other device would be doing the same thing, but they are all mapped to different regions of the screen, so no one would ever be trying to adjust the same parameter.

I'm aware of the conflict with cursor-input with this setup, but was wondering if the multi-user account VNC connection approach would work and allow multiple instances of one app to be controlled this way. The app in question is actually a virtual interface for an external piece of hardware connected via firewire, which may also complicate things since multiple instances of it's v-interface would confuse it.

Perhaps I'm just out of luck, but thought I'd ask if anyone may have some creative solutions. Any help would be much appreciated!
