I was wondering if there is any way to force 4k (3840x2160) @ 60hz via the Apple Multiport AV adapter?
I know Apple states 4k 30hz as a limitation, but hear me out.

We know the USB C port is capable of 4k 60hz, and that the limitation is due to there being a HDMI port as well as a USB 3 port on the hub, and therefore a lack of bandwidth.

Now, the 4k LG Ultrafine display uses a single USB C (Not TB3) connection to do 4k (4096x2304) @ 60hz as well as 3 x USB 2 (480mbps). So considering this, is there any way to force the Apple Multiport AV adapter to do 4k 60hz + leave whatever bandwidth is left for the USB port? I believe "DisplayPort Alternate Mode" is a way to achieve this.

Even USB 2.0 speeds would be fine by me, as i will mostly be connecting a mouse to it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
