Yesterday I tried doing a multisport session for the first time and in that situation, I wasn't able to add another sport/activity type after I began the 2nd one. Here's what I recorded yesterday:

1. Began activity "Stairs" because I was walking down 10 storey building
2. Then I added "Indoor walk" because on the ground level there is a long way to go before I go outdoors. So far this worked. I was able to start Indoor walk
3. Then I wanted to add "Outdoor walk" because I was going to walk 1 mile outdoors. However, the "Add new" button on the Watch was greyed out. I couldn't add another activity after having done 2 activity types! That surprised me. So I stopped the entire workout, saved it, then started a new activity of "Outdoor walk".

Is there a limitation of up to 2 activity types that one can have in a session? That seems odd.

OK, I think I have found out that the issue is each activity has to be at least 1 minute long before the "New" button is available for the user to select a new sport. This doesn't seem to be documented although is discussed in some posts on the internet.

Problem resolved.
