Multitasking fix screws apps

I have an iPhone 3G 16gb running on iOS 4.2.1. My springboard kept crashing when I tried to switch apps, so I applied that multitasking fix "opengles-2" in N82.plist . But now I am suddenly "unauthorised" to use some of the apps on my iPhone (eg. iBasket, PaperNinJa). While syncing with iTunes, it deletes them from my iPhone, and when I try to reinstall them, it says my iPhone is incompatible. But when I change "opengles-1", they sync just fine.

Is anyone else experiencing this prob?
Any solutions?

I really don't want to go back to 4.1 :(
