iPod touch Multitasking problem

Hey guys,

i have a problem with multitasking on my iPod Touch 4G 32gb running iOS 5.0.1.
when i tap the home button twice, my iPod seems to respring.
i don't know if this is normal, and i don't now if this is something settings-related?
Earlier today it worked just fine, but now it just doesnt anymore...

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Already fixed it i just restored my iPod after i made a backup!
didn't lose any apps, music, photos etc.
