Disclaimer - I know the guys that did this, but am not involved with it, just a fan.
Infurious, the guys behind the banned iPhone comic Murderdrome have released their first kids comic to the app store. It's aimed at ages 4-7 roughly, but it's a great example of how the iPhone can breathe new life into an existing format. You can flip through the pages by swiping left and right, whilst swiping down reveals the original ink and pencil versions of the artwork.
EyeCandy also adds in some extra features over Murderdrome like the ability to pull up a paint pallette and colour the images yourself and a fun little shaker toy in the extra menu. My four year old has been playing with it all day and is loving it.
It's only 99c/59p and is worth it just to get a feel for the interface used in their comic reader app.
