Has anyone heard of this brand? I am shopping to upgrade my MBP to 8GB and came across this. It is 2 x 4 GB DDR3 1066 MHz so it's compatible with my mid 2009 MBP.

I'm looking locally because most places online are in the US and I'm in Canada and don't want to deal with duty being tacked on. I have both Best Buy and Future Shop here locally... I know they carry Kingston too, but just never heard of this Muskin brand before so I thought I'd ask...

Mushkin is a solid brand. They do memory, SSDs etc really reliable products. I use their SSD in my windows pc and their ram too. Failure rate of their products is really low, if they work on macs or not I have no idea

Yep, good solid brand in general :)

Used their RAM when I had a PC, over clocked and never had a problem

If it is sold by new egg, it's fine.

that's a joke right?

let me give you an example, they sell XFX graphic cards, which are the worst ever. So is their customer service. The place I get stuff from got rid of most XFX products for that reason.....
