iPod touch Mushy Home Button?

I just picked up my iPod touch 4g from the Apple Store tody and the Home button doesnt make the clicky sound like it used to

I am fine with it, as long as it isnt a defect.

Maybe you just got a lemon. Take it to an Apple Store, push a few display model iPod touch home buttons. If it doesn't feel mushy like yours, get it replaced.
