I have the 2017 MacBook Pro, and one of my keys (U) feels mushy most of the time. It doesn't always have that 'clickiness' feeling that the other keys do. The 'U' key will feel more like normal if if I tap on it a few times, but will eventually feel mushy again. Another thing I've noticed is that all the other keys move sideways easily within their space. The 'U' key does not move sideways as easily as the others.

Is this anything I could fix myself? I've taken good care of the machine and don't think there's any large pieces of dust or crumbs under the key, but it's still possible I suppose. I've seen videos/guides of people removing the keys on these butterfly keyboards, but I'm nervous to try it. Is it easy, or am I better off leaving it alone?
