I'm looking for great iPad apps for creating beats, backing tracks, or remixing songs. Not in that lame (but genius) I Am T-Pain kinda way, but in the way of something like Sony Acid Pro or Pro Tools but touch friendly.

Anyone have pros/cons for me on some great apps? Would also need loops and instrument tracks. MIDI and full drum kit would be a plus, as would the ability to song sample from the library on the device. Thx in advance.:D

iSequence.

Search for Korg or Rebirth on the app store. Korg just released an iPad version of their synth software, and Rebirth just came out as well. Rebirth is a software implementation of (2) 303's, an 808 and a 909.

Try Looptastic HD. It's pretty simple and brainless way to remix. Alot of fun. If you're more serious about it then try iSequence or one of the Korg apps.

Thanks for the results as Korg and iSequence are awesome (and currently both on sale for anyone looking). I'm still fumbly a bit with Korg and can't figure out if it allows track imports. Like I have isolated tracks for remxing and wanted to run them through the Korg app but can't figure out importing through there. Rebirth does it but I'd rather not spend additional $ right now as the Korg and iSequence are perfect for everything else.. thx
