Somehow all the music and all of the videos I downloaded onto my iPod touch disappeared this morning.

I plugged it into my computer the night before and then unplugged it before I went to work.

Everything looked normal and seemed fine until I clicked on the video app to play a video.

There was no data stored in that app so I decided to click on the music app... Same results.

I replugged the iPod into the computer and everything was indeed erased.

All of the other apps (game apps) that I've downloaded are still there and are working fine.

I noticed that the information for my iPod on iTunes strangely accounts 1.97 GB of information stored on my iPod in the "other" category.

The information stored in that category has never been more than a couple of MB (as far as I can remember) until today.

Has this ever happened to anyone before? Does anybody know what went wrong? How did you get everything fixed?
