I keep all my music files manually organised in a folder named "MP3" on an external HDD named "audio". This drive died, so I attached a backup drive (named "backups" which contains the subfolders "work backup", "photos backup" and "audio backup" - a backup of the original drive.

The Music app obviously couldn't find any songs, but after manually locating one song I confirmed the popup asking if I wanted to use this location to locate other missing songs. It took a long time, yet didn't seem to find any other songs (or at least none I could see as everything I tried to play also came up with "file not located" messages).

So I dragged the entire "backups/audio backup/MP3" folder into the app to reload all my music.
I can now play all my music, but I now find all the playlists are empty. What do I need to do to get these playlists reloaded/working properly?

Is there just a text file somewhere which needs pathnames to be manually changed, for example?
Because the folder structure of the backup drive is one level deeper than the original, is this going to cause issues?

Alternatively, if I rename the "audio backup" folder to "audio", might this solve everything?

Thanks in advance for help
