Music App Not Displaying Artist in the Library

This is occurring on my iPhone. I've got music from a specific artist that shows up in my playlists as expected, and when I do a search for the artist. But they are not displayed in the Artists, Songs, or Albums sections. These are songs that are resident on the phone itself, so it's nothing to do with iCloud or Apple's streaming service.

Any ideas why an artist wouldn't display in these menus, but does under my playlists?
