Is there a way to see which song files in a playlist cannot be located w/o having to play each song individually?

Sometimes I can drag & drop songs in a playlist to re-order them, but at other times they jump back to their original position when I release the mouse button. Any idea why this can happen?

To get all song files in your library that cannot be located:
- Create a new empty playlist named "active tracks". In your library, select all songs and drag them onto the newly created playlist. (This triggers Music.app to check the song files for their existence.)
- Create a new 'smart playlist' named "orphaned tracks" with the rule:
Playlist is not active tracks
Now you have all orphaned tracks in one place.

Thanks; that sounds hopeful. Unfortunately I won't be able to try it till next week. Fingers crossed...
