I have a Gen 2 / Series 2 Space Black w/ Watch OS 4.1

I have searched and people may not have made a thread about this. I do not listen to music from my phone and it is strange why I would need to see that show up on my watch right away when I raise my wrist and have to consistently close that app. It is very annoying. This is usually while youtube or other videos are open on the phone.

It’s a remote control for whatever media you’re watching on your phone, but I don’t know how to stop it.

I know that but it is worthless when I have the phone in my right hand. It is redundant. I looked everywhere on the phone and you cannot delete the music app from the watch.

Disable the Auto-launch Audio Apps option under General—Wake Screen.
