iPhone Music App - What are the square and circle icons next to some songs?

Does anyone know what these icons are for in the Music app? I'm confused...

Odd. I've synced all of that music from my Mac. Not downloaded. I also have iCloud download icons. But I'm not signed up for iTunes Match. Hmm...
