Here’s the scenario I run into constantly since quite a few iOSes ago. I’m listening to music on shuffle, when suddenly an artist comes on and I’m really feeling the music and I want to switch to shuffling only that artist. In the past, I could tap on the artist name and all of their albums would appear on my screen and I’d just tap shuffle. Now, this isn’t possible anymore since Apple Music came out.
In iOS 13, I would tap”go to artist” and it would go to that artist’s Apple Music page (no matter if I had Apple Music disabled or not) which doesn’t help because I don’t own those songs. So I’d have to instead search for the artist in my library and then tap shuffle.
Now, in iOS 14, the “go to artist” isn’t even there anymore and I’m still stuck with having to search manually for the artist instead of having a quick way of navigating to the artist that is currently playing. It’s so frustrating.
