Music App with gestures?

It seems kinda silly that there's a huge 10 inch multitouch screen in front of me and the only way to skip/pause/play tracks is to press the teeny 3cm buttons in the corner.

Is there anyway to use gestures in the ipod app? Or maybe a 3rd party app that lets you use gestures?
