Music/audio streaming app

Hi,

I'm looking for an application that I can stream music from my mbp, to an Android device I connect to my audio system. It should be able to access my music folder on my mbp from the phone, and if possible I'd like to control what my phone (that is connected to the audio system) is playing from the mbp.
I guess that means that I'd need to install a server app on my mbp and a client app on my phone.

Does anybody know an app that does that? or a way to set this up?

Check out doubleTwist (http://www.doubletwist.com/), their AirSync feature in particular (http://www.doubletwist.com/airsync/).

I think it does that (and more) but I can be mistaken.

Unfortunately it does not...
I tried it, it syncs music over wifi, and you can stream videos from your phone over to AppleTV.
But thanks anyway

Thanks guys! you helped me find what I was looking for.
Turns out AirFoil does exactly what I need. It streams audio from an application on my mac (VLC, Fidelia, Chrome with youtube or whathaveyou...) or just stream my whole system audio to a client app (Airfoil Speakers for Android) on my Andriod!

YAY!!
