I remember back in iOS 6 when you could adjust the music controls (scrub, change track, pause, adjust volume) right on the lock screen with out looking at the phone (looking at the road) Then Apple decided they wanted people to die by creatively crashing their cars while adjusting their music. Obviously I don't bother adjusting anything anymore because it's such a pain in the ass. Why they had to make the touch area for the buttons and especially with the scrubber so much smaller, I have no idea.
Anyone else have a similar experience? I don't use my phone while driving, except for changing tracks, and I no longer even do that because it requires full attention. Has anyone figured out a solution (besides not adjusting anything)
Is there even such a thing like an AUX cord with the in line controls like the headphones? I'm tempted to destroy some Apple EarPods and add an 3.5mm jack to the earphone end making an AUX cable with physical controls... Of course if such a device exists, can someone point me in the right direction?
EDIT: Of course such a device exists. Silly me.

Just wish the remove part was closer to the phone connection end since my aux jack in my car is buried in the center console.
