I have a track I am needing to split. I am wanting to take the vocals out of the track to be sung. I would like to have the vocals separate from the music. How can I do this?

Here's a previous thread discussing this topic. It's virtually impossible to do without access to the individual tracks that were mixed to make the final song. Any post-mixing techniques you use are going to seriously compromise the quality of the music you're trying to keep.

Try Googling "removing vocals." A number of the top results give good information on such techniques. In short, there are ways to do it, but their effectiveness depends on how the song was mixed.
