Music Folder And iTunes Folder

I just used senuti to download all my songs from my ipod to my imac. It saved my songs to my music folder and is now putting them into itunes. It it making two copys of the songs. Can I delete them out of my music folder and still have them in itunes. Im running OSX

Once iTunes has copied the songs into ~/Music/iTunes, you can delete the other copy.

Senuti keeps messing up. How do you get the songs from the music folder to itunes. Also how do you search for dups with itunes

You can drag music onto iTunes' dock icon and it'll copy it into the iTunes folder. I don't know how to find duplicates.

Could this not have something to do with .m3u files?
