~/Music folder too big?

According to Get Info, my music folder is 49gb. According to iTunes, my music is 18.5. Why is this? What can I delete to get rid of extraneous information?

Is there anything in ~/Music other than the iTunes folder?

You mighta deleted music from your library but neglected to remove the file from the folder.

GarageBand saves your stuff there by default....

Where is your iTunes library, is it possible you have the "Copy Files to iTunes Folder" turned on? This might mean your library is looking at ~/music/itunes/itunes music Instead of just ~/music. See if your ~/music/itunes folder has music in it, and then check your iTunes preferences to see the directory of your library. Worth a look.
