Music goes backwards

I don't know if anyone has this problem, but when I'm listening to music and press forward on the lockscreen, the music goes to the previous music. I'd keep pressing forward and noticed I heard those songs already. I turn on shuffle. When I get annoyed of this I go into the music app and press shuffle to start playing different songs.

which arrow are you using

also are you sure your playlist isnt showing songs duplicated ?

never heard or seen this happen

how bout more info like what model iPhone what iOS are you currently using

I press the right arrow. I don't have duplicate songs. I have the iPhone 5.
